Role & Responsibilities
- Recommend, select and locate merchandise tailored to customer needs, providing expert product knowledge of current inventory and promotions.
- Deliver a personalized shopping experience to foster repeat business and drive participation in loyalty and credit programs.
- Process sales transactions accurately via the POS register and adhere to checkout and cash-handling standards.
- Maintain selling floor and fitting rooms, execute markdowns, put away go-backs, and ensure merchandise displays comply with brand standards.
- Participate in store events and selling programs to achieve individual and store sales goals, customer acquisition and loyalty targets.
- Adhere to Asset Protection control and compliance procedures and report shortage/theft concerns using company reporting methods.
- Resolve customer issues in alignment with company values of trust, integrity and respect.
- Complete assigned tasks and special projects from store leadership with urgency and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a retail, customer service, or sales environment with a demonstrated sales track record.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to build customer relationships.
- Ability to operate store equipment including POS register, radios, ticket scanners and sensor removers.
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
