The Merchandise Operations Associate supports daily merchandise processing, presentation, maintenance, and fulfillment at Saks OFF 5TH, including customer order completion and service. The role is part-time, with flexible scheduling based on business needs.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process inbound merchandise and place and present merchandise on the selling floor.
- Maintain merchandise placement and presentation standards.
- Support store projects as needed, including replenishing merchandise on the selling floor, floor recovery, and supply replenishment.
- Locate requested merchandise in the store and complete customer orders.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond quickly to customer needs.
- Take on additional ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Able to lift cartons, climb ladders, and handle merchandise racks and carts; lift up to 50 pounds.
- Maintain merchandising standards on the sales floor in compliance with visual standards.
- Computer skills and ability to use available technology, including RF guns, PC, iOS devices, Excel, Word, and proprietary platforms.
- Able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs and follow through on assigned tasks.
- Able to drive a company vehicle as needed in accordance with state driver's license standards; applies to select locations only.
