Role & Responsibilities
- Engage customers proactively to recommend, locate and upsell merchandise aligned with their needs and preferences.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of store inventory and product assortments to provide accurate style and fit guidance.
- Deliver consistent, courteous greetings and educate customers on current promotions and loyalty offers.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS register while adhering to checkout standards.
- Contribute to repeat business by building customer relationships and promoting the Saks credit program.
- Support daily selling floor and fitting-room operations including markdowns, go-backs, fixture adjustments and signage.
- Execute markdowns with accuracy and urgency per company procedures.
- Ensure visual presentation and merchandising comply with brand standards.
- Adhere to Asset Protection controls, report shortages/theft, and support loss-prevention initiatives.
- Complete ad hoc tasks and special projects assigned by store leadership and participate in selling events.

- Experience in retail, customer service or sales environments with a demonstrable sales orientation.
- Proven sales track record and results-driven mindset.
