Role & Responsibilities
- Engage customers proactively: greet, advise, and recommend merchandise aligned to client needs and current promotions.
- Demonstrate and maintain strong product knowledge across store inventory to drive sales and conversion.
- Process sales accurately using the point‑of‑sale (POS) register and adhere to checkout standards.
- Build client relationships to foster repeat business and promote Saks credit card participation and loyalty programs.
- Maintain selling floor and fitting room standards: handle go‑backs, execute markdowns, resize fixtures, and sign merchandising displays.
- Complete markdowns and inventory tasks with urgency and accuracy per company protocols.
- Support store selling events and promotional programs to meet individual and store sales goals.
