Role & Responsibilities
- Provide sales support and customer service during staffing fluctuations and absences, assisting both full-time and part-time teams as needed.
- Recommend, locate and present merchandise in response to customer needs; maintain up-to-date product and inventory knowledge.
- Greet customers, communicate promotions, and proactively build relationships to drive repeat business and Saks credit program participation.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS register and uphold checkout standards.
- Maintain selling floor and fitting-room presentation, execute markdowns and returns promptly and according to company standards.
- Ensure merchandising and visual presentation comply with brand standards and participate in store events and promotions.
- Adhere to Asset Protection policies, report shortages or theft concerns through company channels, and support loss-prevention initiatives.
- Complete tasks and special projects assigned by store leadership in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a retail, customer-service, or sales environment with a demonstrable sales orientation.
- Proven ability to deliver high standards of customer service and build lasting customer relationships.
- Strong commercial drive and entrepreneurial mindset with results-focused behaviours.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required by store scheduling.
- Ability to operate store equipment such as radios, POS register, ticket scanners and sensor removers.

Experience
Previous experience in retail, customer service or sales environments is required; candidates should demonstrate a track record of meeting sales targets and delivering excellent in-store customer experiences.
