Saks OFF 5TH in Aventura, FL is hiring a Part‑Time Flex Associate to deliver luxury off‑price retail sales and exceptional customer service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised service by recommending, selecting and locating merchandise to meet customer needs and preferences.
- Maintain thorough familiarity with store inventory and product assortments to provide authoritative product knowledge.
- Greet customers consistently and communicate current promotions and loyalty programs to drive acquisition and repeat business.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) register, adhering to checkout and cash-handling standards.
- Support store merchandising and presentation: execute markdowns, re-size fixtures, put away go-backs, and maintain window and fixture signage to brand standards.
- Uphold Asset Protection policies, report shortages or suspicious activity, and participate in theft-awareness initiatives.
- Contribute to store selling events and complete special projects or operational tasks assigned by store leadership.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in retail, customer service or sales environments; demonstrable sales results preferred.
- Proven ability to build customer relationships and deliver a high standard of service.
- Ability to operate radios, POS register, ticket scanners and sensor removers.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in retail or customer-facing sales roles is required; candidates should demonstrate a results-driven mindset and a track record of meeting sales targets or KPIs. Specific luxury or fashion retail experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
