Role & Responsibilities
- Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires
- Maintain familiarity with store inventory to provide superior product knowledge and styling guidance
- Greet customers consistently and educate them on current promotions and Saks OFF 5TH offerings
- Build and foster repeat customer relationships through personalized engagement and clienteling initiatives
- Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately using the POS register system while adhering to checkout standards
- Resolve customer issues with professionalism, upholding core values of trust, integrity and respect
- Achieve individual and store goals for sales, customer acquisition, and loyalty program participation
- Participate in ongoing maintenance of the selling floor and fitting rooms, including fixture resizing, merchandise restocking, and executing markdowns
- Execute the markdown process with urgency and accuracy in accordance with company standards
- Maintain proper display of merchandise throughout the store in compliance with brand standards

- Thorough knowledge of the fashion industry and passion for sharing expertise
- Ability to operate retail equipment including radios, POS registers, ticket scanners, and sensor removers
