Role & Responsibilities
- Support execution of front‑of‑house priorities and uphold selling‑floor service and visual merchandising standards across the store.
- Coach, develop and evaluate selling associates and line leaders to ensure consistent delivery of KPIs and brand service behaviours.
- Schedule and oversee cashiering coverage to maximize register availability and minimize customer wait times; ensure effective line leadership during peak periods.
- Act as the primary Connected Service Coach during peak traffic periods to drive loyalty enrolments, SaksFirst acquisition and connected‑service behaviours.
- Enforce corporate directives and store standards: maintain neat, stocked and merchandised selling areas and ensure fast‑to‑floor merchandise flow.
- Train associates on fast‑to‑floor return processes and communications tools (walkies/radios) to flex coverage and meet customer need.
- Resolve customer concerns in‑store and escalate to appropriate management when required to achieve satisfactory in‑moment outcomes.
Qualifications
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of retail management experience overseeing a selling workforce in a comparable volume environment.
- Proven sales track record with a results‑driven approach and demonstrated ability to meet KPIs.
- Strong coaching and people‑leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and foster a collaborative culture.
- Excellent time‑management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
