Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise asset protection team execution of responsibilities at assigned retail location
- Manage scheduling and staffing to ensure continuous asset protection coverage
- Train asset protection staff on programs, procedures, and loss prevention best practices
- Manage and maintain access control systems to prevent unauthorized facility entry
- Monitor inbound and outbound inventory activities and shipping/receiving procedures
- Coordinate completion of asset protection audits, physical security assessments, and alarm system tests
- Oversee CCTV system components and maintain surveillance capability throughout facility
- Investigate instances of internal and external theft, merchandise shortage, and fraud
- Prepare written incident reports, accident documentation, and case files in tracking systems
- Represent the company in legal proceedings and court testimony as required
- Provide security recommendations to management for facility enhancement and loss mitigation
- Maintain strong collaborative relationships with store management, vendors, and internal teams
- Lead by example in adherence to company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High School Degree or GED required
- 1–5 years of asset protection or loss prevention experience in retail or similar environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency with computer-based systems and ability to learn new software quickly
- Ability to work rotating schedules and variable hours as required
- Ability to distinguish colors and hear warning signals and equipment alerts
- Demonstrated reliability and integrity in handling sensitive security matters
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, walk long distances, bend, stoop, and climb stairs or ladders

Experience
1–5 years of asset protection, loss prevention, or retail security experience in a retail environment or similar facility-based setting.
Education
High School Degree or GED required.
