Role & Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered warehouse equipment — forklifts, cherry pickers and standing reach trucks — in accordance with Saks Global standards.
- Adhere to company and regulatory safety guidelines and maintain compliance with established procedures.
- Support cross-functional warehouse activities and flex into different roles as directed by management.
- Master departmental processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Verify shipments and inventory accuracy, record discrepancies, and escalate vendor or processing issues to supervisors or leads.
- Be available for overtime and peak-period demand to meet operational requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating powered industrial equipment in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Ability to complete and pass powered equipment training per Saks Global guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and a safety-first mindset.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and leadership.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally and to stand and walk for shifts up to 12 hours.
Skills
Experience
Previous hands-on experience operating power equipment (forklift, cherry picker, standing reach truck) in a warehouse or distribution centre is required. Experience identifying and escalating vendor or processing issues is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The base compensation for this position is USD 21 per hour.
