Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and coach visual stylists through clear direction, timeline communication, quality reviews, and constructive feedback; maintain current store signage, mannequin presentations, beauty displays, and photo assignments
- Recruit, retain, and build a pipeline of visual merchandising talent in partnership with the Visual Director
- Foster a customer-centric culture through exemplary performance standards and strategic collaboration across store and corporate functions
- Establish and maintain productive relationships across all organizational levels, including store leadership, brand experience teams, sales excellence, brand partners, and operations
- Execute seasonal and monthly creative directives with regional visual teams, including holiday campaigns, window displays, in-store installations, and mannequin styling
- Oversee daily store standards accountability including signage compliance, loss prevention protocols, floor maintenance, and inventory management in partnership with store and brand teams
- Communicate and enforce brand partner merchandising guidelines, coordinate monthly floor sets, conduct photo reviews, and ensure daily maintenance standards
- Manage the store visual supply budget, including procurement and project allocation in coordination with the Sr RPSO
- Meet calendar timelines and commitments; conduct weekly store walk-throughs with the General Manager and participate in all leadership meetings
Qualifications
- 3+ years of visual merchandising or visual design experience
- 2+ years of proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Ability to partner effectively across all organizational levels and establish collaborative working relationships
- Demonstrated capability to identify operational improvement opportunities and facilitate cross-departmental solutions
- Track record of navigating complex business problems and presenting recommendations at executive level
- Experience implementing large-scale projects within retail environments
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Skills
Experience
3+ years of professional visual merchandising experience combined with 2+ years of direct leadership experience in a retail or luxury environment. Previous experience implementing enterprise-wide visual strategies and managing multiple cross-functional teams required. Demonstrated success collaborating with brand partners and corporate creative departments in a complex, multi-store organization preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Design, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
