Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category sourcing strategies that deliver cost, quality and lead‑time optimisation while protecting craftsmanship and brand standards.
- Manage end‑to‑end supplier selection processes: RFI/RFP issuance, bid evaluation, on‑site due diligence and commercial negotiation.
- Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with strategic suppliers, ensuring robust SLAs, IP protection and compliance with the company’s code of conduct.
- Drive supplier performance management including KPIs, corrective action plans and continuous improvement programmes.
- Collaborate closely with design, product development, quality, manufacturing and sustainability teams to align sourcing strategy with product and brand requirements.
- Perform total cost of ownership analysis, market intelligence and benchmarking to inform sourcing decisions and mitigate supply‑chain risk.
- Champion responsible sourcing practices and support supplier audits, sustainability assessments and remediation plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, procurement, business, engineering or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Professional procurement certification desirable (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) or equivalent proven procurement training.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable negotiation and contract management capabilities.
- Deep understanding of supplier audit processes, compliance requirements and IP protection relevant to luxury goods.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills in matrix environments.

Experience
Typically 3–6 years of progressive procurement or sourcing experience, ideally within fashion, leather goods or another consumer goods sector, with a track record of managing strategic supplier relationships and delivering measurable commercial improvements.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, procurement, business, engineering or related field; a master’s degree or equivalent professional qualifications is advantageous.
