Role & Responsibilities
- Model the Saks Fifth Avenue Principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank) to deliver exceptional customer experiences from initial approach through post-sale follow-up
- Drive individual and vendor line sales volumes while achieving departmental and event sales targets through consultative selling and product application expertise
- Develop and maintain customer relationships using Saks Fifth Avenue's proprietary clienteling system to track preferences, purchase history, and personalized recommendations
- Conduct professional makeup consultations and skincare application demonstrations to establish credibility as a brand expert
- Maintain the beauty counter at the highest merchandising standards, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming selling environment
- Execute in-house training programs and pre-booked facial consultation events to enhance brand visibility and drive customer engagement
- Collaborate effectively with team members and vendor Account Executives to support cross-functional sales initiatives and brand objectives
- Demonstrate sound business judgment and organizational capability in a fast-paced, multi-tasking retail environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics or beauty environment
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding individual sales quotas and targets
- Proficiency with online clienteling tools and point-of-sale systems
- Professional makeup application and skincare consultation skills
- Strong attention to detail, initiative-taking, and customer service orientation
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Sound business judgment and organizational capability
