Role & Responsibilities
- Model Neiman Marcus core service principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank) in all customer interactions
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor line, and departmental sales targets through consultative selling and transaction closure
- Build and maintain client relationships through personalized consultation, make-up application, and treatment recommendations
- Utilize Neiman Marcus clienteling software to record, maintain, and leverage client information and preferences for business development
- Deliver professional make-up and skincare consultations while conducting facial treatments and product demonstrations
- Manage counter standards by maintaining a clean, orderly, and welcoming selling environment
- Serve as brand expert and liaison between Neiman Marcus and assigned vendor Account Executives
- Execute omnichannel customer engagement from initial approach through post-sale follow-up
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment
- Demonstrated successful sales track record with quota attainment
- Professional competency in make-up application and skincare consultation
- Ability to learn and proficiently utilize proprietary online clienteling tools and point-of-sale systems
- Sound business judgment and organizational ability
- Ability to work effectively in both team-oriented and independent settings
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably within a customer-focused cosmetics, beauty, or fragrance department. Previously demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding individual sales quotas.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
