Role & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of outbound and inbound shipments, ensuring timely deliveries to boutiques, warehouses and wholesale customers.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and customs declarations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers (ocean, air and road) and customs brokers to secure bookings, track shipments and resolve exceptions.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, Incoterms and company export/import policies.
- Operate and maintain shipment records in WMS/ERP systems; prepare regular status reports and KPI dashboards for supply‑chain stakeholders.
- Liaise with internal teams (merchandising, retail operations, distribution and finance) to prioritize shipments and expedite urgent deliveries.
- Manage claims, shortages and discrepancies, leading investigation and recovery with carriers and insurers.
- Continuously review freight costs and routing options to optimise transit time and total landed cost.
Qualifications
- Proven knowledge of international shipping procedures, export/import documentation and Incoterms.
- Familiarity with customs clearance processes and trade compliance requirements.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments concurrently.
- Excellent communicator with demonstrated ability to coordinate external logistics partners and cross‑functional internal teams.
- Preferably holds or is working toward relevant certifications (e.g., IATA DGR, international trade or customs training).
