Role & Responsibilities
- Serve assigned dining area section with professionalism and graciousness consistent with Neiman Marcus luxury standards
- Provide detailed menu information utilizing thorough knowledge of food preparation, culinary terminology, wines, beers, and spirits
- Manage POS transactions across all authorized payment methods while adhering to established accounting procedures
- Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and execute pre-shift and post-shift duties as assigned
- Maintain exceptional hygiene standards including clean, pressed uniform and professional grooming
- Execute lifting duties as required, including tables, chairs, and similar objects up to 35 pounds
- Clean and maintain restaurant workspace and workstations to highest standards
- Interact graciously with customers and coordinate seamlessly with kitchen and service team
- Coordinate holiday, vacation, and time-off scheduling with management while prioritizing operational needs
Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of order of service and proper table setting placement (china, glass, flatware, food, beverage)
- Thorough knowledge of food preparation, culinary terminology, and wine/spirit service procedures
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage multiple concurrent duties
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
- Experience in food and beverage service with understanding of proper table service guidelines
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift/carry 35 pounds regularly
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Education
High School diploma or GED preferred.
