Role & Responsibilities
- Serve assigned dining sections in a professional and gracious manner consistent with Neiman Marcus hospitality standards
- Provide detailed information to guests regarding menu items, utilizing thorough knowledge of food preparation and culinary terminology
- Demonstrate expertise in wine, beer, and spirits service, including technical and service procedures
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the POS system and execute all authorized payment transactions with accuracy
- Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and execute all assigned pre-shift, post-shift, and weekly duties
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining courteous interaction with guests
- Maintain the highest hygiene and grooming standards, including pressed uniform and professional appearance
- Execute all lifting and carrying duties, including tables, chairs, and other dining equipment (up to 35 pounds)
- Clean and maintain the restaurant and personal workstation according to established procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Demonstrated experience in food and beverage service
- Thorough knowledge of table service guidelines, order of service, and proper placement of china, glassware, and flatware
- Comprehensive understanding of food preparation, culinary terminology, and wine and spirits service
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Physical capability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift and carry objects up to 35 pounds regularly
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Skills
Experience
Demonstrated experience in food and beverage service environments, with understanding of fine dining protocols and table service guidelines. Prior experience in luxury hospitality or high-end retail dining settings is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.16 to USD 23.95 per hour.
