Role & Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize retail e‑commerce platforms, with specific focus on Salesforce Service Cloud (SFSC) and Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
- Design, implement and maintain monitoring and alerting using DataDog and OpsGenie to improve response time and reduce system downtime.
- Automate TLS/SSL certificate issuance and renewal workflows and manage Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules in accordance with enterprise security standards.
- Configure and operate Akamai services — including properties, behaviors, caching rules, edge hostnames, delivery configurations and SSL certificates.
- Collaborate with Networks and Security teams to coordinate firewall openings, DNS changes and other infrastructure networking requirements.
- Troubleshoot application and web‑server issues to ensure production changes occur with zero downtime and uphold availability SLAs.
- Implement and operate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using Jenkins, CircleCI and Terraform.
- Script and automate routine maintenance, deployments and site reliability tasks using Bash and Python.
- Maintain non‑production and production Linux/UNIX systems and support QA workflows to ensure overall system reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum three (3) years of hands‑on experience administering and troubleshooting Akamai CDN and Web Application Firewall (WAF) for production workloads.
- Proven experience with CI/CD toolchains including Jenkins and CircleCI and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python for automation of operational tasks.
- Experience administering Linux/UNIX systems and working with on‑premises and cloud networking, DNS and firewall configurations.
- Operational experience with monitoring and alerting platforms such as New Relic and DataDog.
