Role & Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and administer Oracle E-Business Suite applications on versions 11 and R12
- Research and plan upgrades and installation requirements for future EBS releases utilizing the supportability matrix
- Generate business intelligence and financial reports using Discoverer 10g with Oracle E-Business Suite R12
- Manage and monitor Amazon RDS databases and perform cloud monitoring using AWS CloudWatch, Azure Dashboards, and alerts
- Automate manual database and cloud infrastructure processes using Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, PowerShell, and shell scripts
- Execute database administration tasks including creation, upgrades, backups, and audit activities
- Diagnose and resolve database performance issues and provide performance tuning for applications and databases
- Support multiple Oracle Database versions (9i, 10g, 11g, 12c) and Oracle RAC configurations for high availability and failover
- Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain system reliability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or foreign equivalent)
- Five years of progressively responsible experience in Oracle EBS administration or related database administration roles
- Demonstrated expertise installing E-Business Suite applications from scratch and migrating EBS 11i environments
- Proficiency performing EBS application and Oracle database software installation with environment cloning capabilities
- Experience applying quarterly and year-end maintenance patches, bug fixes, and Critical Vulnerability Updates (CVU)
- Knowledge of Vertex tax patch implementation and migration to production systems
- Experience implementing single sign-on by integrating Oracle OID and OIM with EBS applications
- Proven track record migrating on-premises databases to AWS RDS and Azure cloud platforms
- Proficiency utilizing Terraform to provision cloud database resources (RDS for AWS, SQL Managed Instance for Azure)
- Experience with Ansible playbooks for automating Oracle software installation across versions 11g, 12c, and 19c
- Ability to standardize and maintain database maintenance scripts in GitHub repositories
- Exposure to Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Teradata technologies

Education
