Sr. Database Administrator, Oracle EBS role in New York, NY. Manage Oracle EBS databases for enterprise operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (EBS) database environments across production, development, and test systems
- Monitor database performance, implement optimization strategies, and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure system availability and reliability
- Manage database backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery protocols; conduct regular testing to verify data integrity
- Execute database patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities with minimal downtime
- Configure and maintain database security, user access controls, and compliance with organizational policies
- Collaborate with application teams and IT infrastructure to support system deployments and resolve technical issues
Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency with Oracle Database 12c or later versions
- Proven expertise administering Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (EBS) systems in production environments
- Strong knowledge of Oracle backup and recovery solutions (RMAN, Data Guard, or similar)
- Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and database diagnostics
