Saks Global seeks Senior Analyst, Consignment Accounting in Texas. Manage consignment processes, $73K–$95K annually. Full-time role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end consignment accounting processes including revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and vendor settlements, ensuring full GAAP/IFRS compliance
- Analyze consignment inventory performance, variances, and margin trends, delivering actionable insights to Finance and Merchandising leadership
- Drive month-end close activities for consignment accounts with timely, accurate journal entries and reconciliations
- Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Vendor Management to ensure alignment on inventory flows, contract terms, and financial impacts
- Build and maintain robust financial models tracking consignment profitability, inventory turns, and vendor performance
- Evaluate and strengthen internal controls around consignment processes to minimize risk and ensure audit readiness
- Create reporting dashboards and executive summaries translating complex financial data into clear business insights
- Identify automation opportunities and implement scalable solutions within ERP and reporting tools
- Support external and internal audits through documentation preparation and full transparency of consignment accounting practices
- Mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the corporate finance team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4–6+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, accounting, or retail finance
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and revenue recognition principles
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- CPA or equivalent professional certification (preferred)
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consignment-based business models (preferred)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau (preferred)
- Experience driving process improvements or automation initiatives (preferred)
- Exposure to SOX compliance and internal control frameworks (preferred)

Experience
4–6+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, accounting, or retail finance, with demonstrated expertise in inventory accounting and revenue recognition principles. Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or consignment-based business models is highly valued.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
