Saks Global seeks Senior Analyst, Consignment Accounting in Texas. Manage consignment processes, $73K–$95K annually. Full-time role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end consignment accounting processes including revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and vendor settlements, ensuring full GAAP/IFRS compliance
  • Analyze consignment inventory performance, variances, and margin trends, delivering actionable insights to Finance and Merchandising leadership
  • Drive month-end close activities for consignment accounts with timely, accurate journal entries and reconciliations
  • Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Vendor Management to ensure alignment on inventory flows, contract terms, and financial impacts
  • Build and maintain robust financial models tracking consignment profitability, inventory turns, and vendor performance
  • Evaluate and strengthen internal controls around consignment processes to minimize risk and ensure audit readiness
  • Create reporting dashboards and executive summaries translating complex financial data into clear business insights
  • Identify automation opportunities and implement scalable solutions within ERP and reporting tools
  • Support external and internal audits through documentation preparation and full transparency of consignment accounting practices
  • Mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the corporate finance team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 4–6+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, accounting, or retail finance
  • Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and revenue recognition principles
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • CPA or equivalent professional certification (preferred)
  • Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consignment-based business models (preferred)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau (preferred)
  • Experience driving process improvements or automation initiatives (preferred)
  • Exposure to SOX compliance and internal control frameworks (preferred)
