Role & Responsibilities
- Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires
- Maintain thorough familiarity with store inventory and provide expert product knowledge to customers
- Consistently greet customers and educate them on current promotions and special offers
- Foster repeat business by building relationships with customers and actively promoting the Saks credit card
- Efficiently and accurately process sales transactions using the POS register system while adhering to checkout standards
- Resolve customer issues with integrity and respect, aligning to company core values
- Achieve individual and store goals for sales, customer acquisition, and loyalty program participation
- Participate in ongoing maintenance of the selling floor and fitting rooms, including fixture resizing, merchandise placement, markdown execution, and window displays
