Neiman Marcus in Dallas, TX seeks a commission-based Selling Advisor to deliver high-touch luxury client experiences and achieve sales targets.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, high-touch service to affluent clients with a consultative sales approach focused on relationship building and repeat business.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and KPI metrics through proactive prospecting, follow-up and conversion.
  • Develop and maintain a personal client book using clienteling techniques and CRM tools to drive appointments, private viewings and repeat purchases.
  • Maintain impeccable floor standards and visual presentation to align with luxury brand guidelines and seasonal merchandising directions.
  • Execute point-of-sale transactions, accurate cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation following company procedures.
  • Support store events, trunk shows and private appointments, coordinating with visual merchandising and management to maximise client experiences.
  • Upsell and cross-sell across categories, advising clients on styling, tailoring and complementary product selections.
  • Comply with loss-prevention, data privacy and customer service protocols at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to sell consultatively within a luxury retail environment; demonstrable sales results preferred.
  • Fluent interpersonal and communication skills with high emotional intelligence when managing affluent clients.
  • Professional presentation and the capacity to represent premium brands with discretion and tact.
  • Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak holiday periods.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for client follow-up and appointment management.
