Seasonal busser position at Bergdorf Goodman's luxury Italian café in New York, September–January. $17/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables promptly and discreetly between guests, maintaining pristine dining conditions
- Assist servers and captains to ensure smooth and efficient service during all meal periods
- Refill water, bread, and other table items as directed by service staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining room, service stations, and back-of-house areas
- Properly handle, polish, and care for china, glassware, silverware, and fine porcelain including Ginori pieces
- Support opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and sanitation protocols
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in compliance with NYC regulations
- Anticipate guest and team needs in a fast-paced, high-end service environment
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, luxury or fine dining a plus
- Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to cleanliness and presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining professionalism
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

Experience
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, with luxury or fine dining background considered advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-volume service environments.
Education
