Confidential luxury fashion house in New York seeks a Sales Manager — Women's Designer Ready-to-Wear to lead boutique sales and client experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own and drive sales performance across women's ready-to-wear, contemporary, intimates and gift galleries; deliver and exceed store KPIs and revenue targets.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team through hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling and performance management.
- Design and execute clienteling strategies to grow high-value relationships, repeat business and acquisition of new clients.
- Manage floor operations including merchandising standards, inventory control, stock replenishment and loss-prevention protocols.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising, buying and marketing to implement product launches, seasonal floor sets and promotional activations.
- Prepare timely commercial reporting (sales, conversion, average transaction value), analyse trends and translate insights into tactical actions.
- Ensure exceptional client service and adherence to brand standards across all touchpoints; act as the primary ambassador for the brand in-store.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of leadership in luxury or premium retail, ideally within women's apparel, intimates or contemporary brands.
- Demonstrable success meeting and exceeding sales targets with strong commercial acumen and KPI-driven mindset.
- Excellent people-management skills, including recruitment, coaching, performance evaluation and team development.
- Strong organisational skills with experience in inventory management, visual merchandising execution and retail operations.

Minimum 4–6 years of progressive retail experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role within luxury, designer or premium womenswear environments.
Education
