Role & Responsibilities
- Drive achievement of maximum sales and growth in alignment with company vision and values, partnering with functional leads across departments
- Oversee all aspects of merchandise management and communications with merchant and vendor partners, including presentation, returns, and damages
- Manage team execution by anticipating and addressing risks and roadblocks to maintain departmental performance and standards
- Contribute to strategic store-wide goals and establish departmental priorities in partnership with senior leadership
- Review business performance with applicable Buyers and develop action plans to achieve positive results
- Establish sales strategies and plans in partnership with Client Development Leads to maximize customer engagement
- Analyze internal and external customer behaviors, trends, and preferences to adjust processes and standards accordingly
- Plan and execute departmental budgets to minimize operating expenses while maximizing revenue potential
- Support audit compliance and enforce department and stockroom inventory controls as applicable
- Manage people, product placement, and sales promotions within assigned departments
Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in luxury retail fashion
- Proven track record of achieving sales and business results
- Demonstrated history of building, leading, motivating, and coaching high-performing teams
- Collaborative "win together" mentality and commitment to cross-functional partnership
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift and carry up to 10 pounds
- Flexibility to work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
