Role & Responsibilities

• Recommend, select, and help locate merchandise based on customer needs and preferences
• Maintain expert knowledge of store inventory and current product offerings to inform customer interactions
• Greet customers consistently and educate them on ongoing promotional campaigns
• Build lasting customer relationships and promote Saks credit card enrollment to drive repeat business
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS register systems while adhering to checkout standards
• Resolve customer concerns and issues through alignment with company values of trust, integrity, and respect
• Achieve individual and store performance goals for sales, customer acquisition, and loyalty program participation
• Maintain and organize the sales floor and fitting rooms, including fixture resizing, markdown execution, and signage placement
• Execute markdown processes with accuracy and urgency in accordance with company standards
• Participate actively in store promotional programs and selling events
• Ensure proper merchandise display and compliance with brand presentation standards
• Adhere to asset protection controls and compliance procedures while supporting shortage and theft awareness initiatives
• Complete assigned tasks and special projects as directed by store management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven sales experience and results-driven mindset
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to build meaningful customer relationships
• Thorough knowledge of the fashion industry and demonstrated passion for style and design
• Proficiency in operating retail technology including POS registers, radios, ticket scanners, and sensor removers
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Skills

Experience

Experience in a retail, customer service, or sales environment is required. Candidates should demonstrate a proven sales track record with a results-driven mindset and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 18.90 per hour.
