Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage day-to-day front-of-house operations to deliver consistent, elevated guest service and uphold brand standards.
  • Recruit, train, mentor and schedule service staff; develop team performance through coaching, feedback and career pathways.
  • Own restaurant financial performance: prepare budgets, control labour and food costs, analyse P&L and implement revenue-maximising strategies.
  • Ensure operational compliance with local health, safety and licensing regulations and maintain impeccable standards of hygiene.
  • Manage reservations, guest relations and recovery for high-value clients; cultivate repeat business and maintain VIP profiles.
  • Coordinate closely with the culinary team to align service flow, menu launches and special events.
  • Oversee inventory control, supplier relationships and stock optimisation to minimise waste and ensure product quality.
  • Implement service training programmes, SOPs and quality audits to continuously raise standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Professional food safety certification (e.g., HACCP, Level 2 Food Hygiene) or local equivalent.
