Role & Responsibilities
- Create and maintain efficient restaurant work schedules in partnership with key kitchen staff
- Establish and enforce standards for staff conduct, hygiene, cleanliness, and professional interactions
- Coordinate with kitchen and dining room staff on daily service operations and special event execution
- Monitor inventory quantity and quality control standards whilst coordinating food procurement to cover menus and special events
- Review and follow up on service lapses, providing appropriate communication and coaching to team members
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports to forecast business, sales projections, and budgeting
- Delegate responsibilities to associates and track completion of assigned tasks
- Manage all aspects of catering operations, including prospectus details, guest counts, rentals, labour, and beverages
- Build and maintain customer relationships whilst serving as a representative of the restaurant
- Support the execution of Neiman Marcus retail-tainment initiatives and seasonal campaigns
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Thorough knowledge of proper table settings, order of service, and placement of china, glass, and flatware
- Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation, culinary terminology, and beverage standards
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle multiple duties simultaneously and interact graciously with guests
- Physical capability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift and carry up to 35 pounds

Experience
Previous experience in food and beverage service, restaurant operations, or hospitality management is preferred, with demonstrated ability to work autonomously and maintain high service standards in a luxury retail environment.
Education
