Restaurant General Manager position in Sarasota, FL. Lead fine dining operations and guest experiences in luxury hospitality.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences
- Manage and train front-of-house and back-of-house staff, fostering a culture of service excellence
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability; prepare budgets and financial reports
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to optimize cost control
- Design and implement operational procedures and quality standards
- Address guest concerns and ensure satisfaction through responsive service recovery
- Collaborate with culinary and marketing teams to drive revenue and enhance brand positioning
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a General Manager or senior operations leader in fine dining or luxury hospitality
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage P&L statements
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service standards and health regulations
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Experience
5+ years of progressive experience in restaurant or hospitality management, with at least 3 years in a general management or equivalent leadership role
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred
