Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute menu items to recipe and presentation specifications on assigned stations (hot line, sauté, grill, etc.).
  • Maintain mise en place, portion control and consistent food quality throughout service.
  • Adhere to food safety, sanitation and HACCP procedures; ensure correct handling of allergens.
  • Manage stock rotation, basic inventory tasks and accurate food‑cost control for station supplies.
  • Coordinate closely with garde‑manger, pastry and front‑of‑house teams to ensure smooth service flow and timing.
  • Receive and inspect deliveries, assist with basic storage and labeling of ingredients.
  • Maintain cleaning schedules, kitchen organisation and equipment readiness; report maintenance issues promptly.
