Luxury hospitality brand in Paris hiring a Restaurant Chef Manager to lead kitchen operations and menu development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality culinary output and presentation.
- Design, develop and refine menus in collaboration with senior leadership, integrating seasonal ingredients and cost considerations.
- Recruit, train and mentor kitchen staff; create schedules, define roles and foster a culture of discipline, creativity and continuous improvement.
- Manage food cost, labour cost and kitchen budgets; implement cost-control measures and monitor KPIs to meet financial targets.
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety, sanitation and HACCP standards and maintain impeccable kitchen hygiene.
- Coordinate closely with front-of-house leadership to ensure seamless service flow, timely plating and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Oversee inventory management, purchasing and supplier relationships to secure quality produce and optimise supply costs.
- Implement and maintain standardised recipes, portion control and quality assurance processes across all shifts.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching and development plans to cultivate internal talent and retain key staff.
- Drive innovation in culinary techniques and presentation while preserving the restaurant’s gastronomic identity and standards.
Qualifications
- Professional culinary qualification (Culinary Arts diploma, degree or equivalent) or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Proven leadership experience as a Head Chef, Chef de Cuisine or Kitchen Manager in a high-end or fine-dining environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with documented experience managing food and labour costs and meeting budgetary targets.
- Thorough knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP) and kitchen compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead diverse teams and maintain high staff morale under pressure.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, typical of fine-dining operations.

Experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressive culinary experience with at least 2 years in a senior kitchen leadership role within a high-end or fine-dining restaurant; experience in luxury hospitality preferred.
Education
Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management or equivalent professional culinary training; formal apprenticeships or recognized chef certifications advantageous.
