Saks Global seeks a Regional Director, Asset Protection in New York to lead loss prevention across luxury department stores on the East Coast.
Role & Responsibilities
- Identify and mitigate business integrity and operational risks across the assigned region
- Travel to markets regularly to ensure optimal performance of asset protection teams
- Implement and monitor asset protection, investigation, and shortage reduction strategies across assigned facilities
- Lead performance oversight for all assigned locations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards
- Partner with facility and regional leadership to support execution of asset protection initiatives and corporate strategies
- Ensure effective planning and execution of physical inventory and reconciliation processes
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior law enforcement agencies to support investigations
- Analyze risk trends and develop strategic solutions to reduce loss and enhance physical security
- Lead training and development programs for facility teams on loss prevention best practices
- Conduct and oversee internal investigations related to integrity incidents and employee misconduct
- Perform risk assessments and recommend operational improvements to strengthen controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business, or related field
- 10–15+ years of progressive experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or risk management with multi-unit leadership responsibilities
- Proven track record leading investigations and implementing effective loss prevention strategies
- Experience conducting and overseeing physical inventories and reconciliation processes
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations, internal controls, and compliance practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage remote and distributed teams effectively
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with senior leadership, store operations, and law enforcement agencies

Experience
10–15+ years of progressive experience in asset protection, risk management, or loss prevention within retail or related industries, including multi-unit leadership experience.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 136,000 to USD 183,000 per annum.
