Saks Global seeks a Product Copywriter in India to create compelling luxury product descriptions for Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus e-commerce platforms.
Role & Responsibilities
- Write accurate, compelling, and elevated product descriptions for saksfifthavenue.com and neimanmarcus.com
- Process and enhance vendor-provided item descriptions to meet brand standards
- Refine and quality-assure product descriptions for online content, optimizing copy to improve conversion rates
- Develop and follow copywriting standards across diverse product categories and commodities
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Image Edit, Sample Management, Item Setup, Category Management, and Site Merchandising to facilitate product onboarding
- Write product descriptions in accordance with established style guides to ensure consistent, high-quality content
- Maintain knowledge of fashion terminology, trends, fabrics, and brands to inform copy strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Creative Writing, Advertising, Communication, Fashion, or related field
- Proven experience in luxury fashion retail or e-commerce
- Demonstrated experience in copywriting
- Experience with content management, editorial copywriting, and SEO preferred
- Excellent written communication skills including spelling, punctuation, and grammar
- Basic understanding of HTML coding
- Strong knowledge of fashion terminology, trends, fabrics, and luxury brands
- Working knowledge of MS Office and G Suite

Experience
Proven experience in luxury fashion retail or e-commerce environment, with demonstrated copywriting expertise across product categories. Experience in content management, editorial copywriting, and search engine optimization preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Creative Writing, Advertising, Communication, Fashion, or a related discipline.
