Role & Responsibilities
- Own, develop, and monitor photo and video production schedules for the department, ensuring timelines are met across all creative deliverables
- Strategize and achieve maximum production volume per shoot to ensure robust content output for multi-channel usage, including e-commerce, editorial, social media, and paid media
- Negotiate with external suppliers and manage monthly budget sheets to ensure all expenses remain within allocated budgets, including talent, directors, location scouts, props, and video crews
- Identify and maintain relationships with emerging model, photographer, hair/makeup, and video director/editor talent, demonstrating a nuanced understanding of Saks Global brands and their distinct customer bases
- Effectively manage assigned projects, including scoping, quoting, cost tracking, billing, and processing department invoices and billing requests
- Develop presentation materials for concept proposals related to photography and video, including talent recommendations, location options, and creative treatments for multi-channel campaigns
- Communicate creative direction clearly—including storyboards and shot lists—with studio teams to ensure successful execution and build strong working relationships
- Manage the editorial calendar, aligning with internal campaign and content calendars to ensure video and photo deliverables are scheduled and delivered on time
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of production experience in publishing, photo agency, or luxury fashion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe InDesign
- Strong negotiation and budget management capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple concurrent projects
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Project management experience and proven leadership ability
- Understanding of luxury consumer markets and fashion aptitude

Minimum 5 years in production with a background in publishing, photo agency work, or luxury fashion retail environment. Proven experience managing editorial shoots with budget oversight and coordinating with external production vendors.
Education
