Saks Global in Pittston, PA is hiring an Operations Supervisor (1st Shift) to lead distribution center teams and oversee inbound/outbound fulfillment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop frontline employees to achieve operational, productivity and quality targets while fostering an inclusive work environment.
- Manage daily shift activities including shift meetings, workforce staffing and schedule execution to meet operational demand.
- Oversee area operations (inbound, outbound, returns, quality) to ensure accurate order fulfillment, inventory integrity and adherence to quality standards.
- Champion safety by implementing safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and promoting a culture of hazard awareness.
- Monitor operational KPIs, produce and analyze performance reports, develop action plans to address gaps and present findings to senior management.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy across fulfillment workflows.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Track and manage attendance and timekeeping; work assigned shift and additional hours as business needs require.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of supervisory or management experience in supply chain, operations, transportation, or inventory management.
- Demonstrated experience with automated order fulfillment systems and warehouse operations.
- Working knowledge of WMS, productivity and quality measurement systems and standard fulfillment processes.
- Proven ability to build productive working relationships with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Effective verbal and written English communication; candidates must demonstrate English proficiency during interview.

Experience
At least three years of qualitative and quantitative management experience in a comparable role within supply chain, distribution, transportation or inventory management, with hands‑on exposure to automated fulfillment environments.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations management or a related field preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 51,000 to USD 68,000 per annum.
