Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary operational lead for inventory and product-related processes, partnering with a dedicated support associate to ensure seamless execution
- Plan, communicate, and execute daily operational goals with support staff, Selling Coordinators, and Store Managers to drive efficiency and operational clarity
- Partner with the Director of Operations to prepare for annual financial inventory, including ongoing audits and reconciliation to maintain year-round inventory integrity
- Build and execute multiple operational projects, including trunk show and collection launch setups, stockroom reorganization, and return-to-vendor (RTV) coordination aligned with brand standards
- Support sales and merchandising plans by coordinating product movements—transfers, damage assessments, repairs, and seasonal rotations—in collaboration with corporate partners and internal sales teams
- Partner with Selling Managers and Brand Managers to align operational activities with sales targets and client appointment requirements
- Participate in cross-functional meetings with Operations and Selling Managers to ensure alignment and support of shared team objectives
- Maintain elevated selling floor and back-of-house standards that reflect both brand identity and Bergdorf Goodman's luxury positioning
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in retail operations, inventory management, or store leadership
- Demonstrated ability to coach, inspire, and lead a team
- Physical capability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift and carry up to 10 pounds regularly
- Willingness to work flexible schedules based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Skills
Experience
3+ years of experience in retail operations, inventory management, or store leadership, preferably in a luxury retail environment. Proven track record of managing inventory accuracy, coordinating complex operational projects, and leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced retail setting.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is USD 20 per hour.
