Role & Responsibilities
- Perform all core functions of the distribution department including processing, material handling, and problem resolution
- Problem-solve receipt issues and communicate resolutions to outside business partners
- Prioritize freight allocation to achieve daily operational goals
- Verify merchandise is received correctly and matches documentation
- Maintain comprehensive safety and housekeeping standards throughout the distribution center
- Operate warehouse management systems and RF scanning equipment to track inventory
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure inventory accuracy
Qualifications
- Demonstrated attention to detail in high-volume warehouse operations
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving
- Strong communication skills with leadership, business partners, and team members
- Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn RF Scanner technology
- Competency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Ability to operate a manual pallet jack safely
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, with ability to understand and communicate operational instructions
- Physical capability to stand for an entire shift and lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs. repetitively
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of working effectively with pre-set schedules and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
