Role & Responsibilities
- Support distribution center leadership in directing night shift operations across Inbound, Outbound, Quality, Returns and related areas to meet productivity, accuracy and service targets.
- Lead, coach and develop frontline employees to achieve operational objectives while fostering an inclusive, safety‑first culture.
- Conduct daily shift briefings; manage workforce planning, staffing and scheduling to align resources with operational demand.
- Monitor KPIs and operational performance; produce and analyse reports, develop corrective action plans and present findings to senior management.
- Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in order fulfilment, inventory control and quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Track attendance and timekeeping, and work assigned shifts (including flexibility for overtime) to support business needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years of qualitative and quantitative management experience in supply chain, operations, transportation or inventory management.
- Demonstrated experience with automated order fulfilment systems and knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Proven ability to develop teams and build productive relationships across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong competency in interpreting operational metrics and implementing action plans to improve performance.
- Proficient written and verbal English; ability to demonstrate English communication during interview.
Skills
Experience
At least 3+ years of supervisory or management experience within distribution, warehouse or supply chain operations, including hands‑on exposure to automated fulfilment environments and WMS platforms. Experience leading night shift or 24‑hour operations is highly applicable.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations management or a related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
