Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day merchandise operations including purchase order creation, tracking, and reconciliation across ERP and PLM systems.
  • Maintain accurate product master data (SKUs, descriptions, costing, seasonal attributes) and ensure integrity across sales channels.
  • Coordinate inventory flow with supply chain, warehouses and retail locations to optimize stock availability and minimise stock discrepancies.
  • Support seasonal launches and replenishment by executing allocation and replenishment plans in partnership with planning, buying and retail teams.
  • Produce regular operational and performance reports (sell-through, ageing, open-to-buy) to inform merchandising and planning decisions.
  • Liaise with vendors, freight forwarders and customs teams to monitor shipments, resolve exceptions and expedite critical deliveries.
  • Implement process improvements, standard operating procedures and system updates to increase transactional accuracy and cycle speed.
  • Assist with returns, quality control processes and pricing updates as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, merchandising, supply chain, or related field preferred; equivalent practical experience accepted.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in merchandise operations, inventory control, retail planning or buying support—preferably within fashion or luxury retail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, pivot tables and financial modelling.
  • Familiarity with ERP and PLM systems and practical experience maintaining product master data.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisation and a methodical approach to transactional workflows.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
