Confidential luxury house — London: Merchandising Operations Associate role supporting PO management, inventory and ERP for seasonal collections.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support end‑to‑end merchandise operations across seasonal cycles, ensuring ranges are accurately established, maintained and archived in merchandising systems.
- Manage purchase order creation, confirmation and tracking; liaise with buying, planning, suppliers and logistics to resolve lead‑time or allocation issues.
- Reconcile inventory and system records; investigate and resolve discrepancies between ERP, DC/warehouse and retail stock.
- Prepare and distribute commercial and operational reports (sell‑through, open‑to‑buy, ageing, allocations) to stakeholders and contribute to weekly/monthly performance reviews.
- Implement pricing, markdowns and promotions in merchandising systems and coordinate launch and delisting activities with retail and e‑commerce teams.
- Maintain product master data and PLM records, control GTIN/SKU lifecycle and ensure accurate descriptive and commercial attributes.
- Participate in UAT for system enhancements, drive process documentation and identify opportunities for operational efficiency and controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, fashion merchandising, supply chain, logistics or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 1–3 years' experience in merchandising operations, merchandise planning, buying support or retail inventory management within fashion, luxury or premium retail.
- Strong analytical aptitude with attention to detail and solid numerical literacy.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, seasonal environment.

Experience
Typically 1–3 years in merchandising operations, merchandise planning or buying support for fashion or luxury retail; experience with ERP/PLM systems and commercial reporting is essential.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, fashion merchandising, supply chain, logistics or equivalent; professional or vocational qualifications in retail merchandising are advantageous.
