Leading luxury fashion house — London: Merchandise Operations Associate (part-time). Support stock, allocation and store replenishment for a global luxury brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute daily merchandise operations including stock receiving, inspection and inbound processing to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
- Manage stock allocation and replenishment for retail doors and e‑commerce channels according to demand plans and merchandising directives.
- Perform regular cycle counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and maintain accurate stock records in the inventory management system.
- Process returns, transfers and adjustments in line with company policies and loss-prevention procedures.
- Support seasonal floor moves, store rollouts and visual merchandising setups through timely stock preparation and coordination with store teams.
- Produce and distribute operational reports and assist merchandisers and buying teams with ad hoc data requests.
- Liaise with logistics, vendors and store operations to resolve shipment exceptions and expedite replenishment when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail stock control, warehouse operations or merchandise support, preferably within luxury, premium fashion or multi-brand retail.
- High school diploma or equivalent; qualification in retail merchandising, logistics or supply chain is advantageous.
- Demonstrable numeracy, attention to detail and ability to maintain data integrity under pressure.
- Flexible availability to cover part-time hours, including occasional early starts or weekends to align with store and shipment schedules.
- Ability to handle physical stock tasks (lifting and moving boxes) and to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
