Role & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day merchandise operations including stock allocations, replenishment and transfers to ensure store and e‑commerce availability
- Process purchase orders, receiving records and inventory adjustments accurately within the ERP and inventory systems
- Monitor sell-through, stock cover and ageing; prepare regular performance and inventory reports for Merchandising and Planning teams
- Coordinate with Buying, Planning, Logistics and Store teams to execute product launches, promotions and seasonal rollouts
- Analyse data to identify stock imbalances, propose corrective actions (re-allocations, price interventions, promotions) and support markdown management
- Support cycle counts, stock reconciliations and loss-prevention initiatives to maintain inventory integrity
- Maintain merchandise records (SKU-level data, product attributes, pricing and assortment) and ensure system data quality
- Contribute to process improvements, SOP documentation and ad-hoc projects to optimise operations and workflow
Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, retail management or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong numerical aptitude and proven ability to manipulate and interpret commercial datasets
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in transactional and inventory tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to coordinate across commercial, logistics and store stakeholders
- Organisational resilience and capacity to manage deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–3 years in retail merchandising operations, inventory planning or merchandise planning; prior experience within luxury fashion or premium retail is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, retail management or equivalent practical experience.
