Role & Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end merchandise operations across the product lifecycle, including purchase order creation, shipment follow-up and receipt reconciliation.
  • Manage inventory replenishment and stock allocations to wholesale and retail channels according to sales forecasts and seasonal plans.
  • Produce regular sales and inventory reports; analyse sell-through, aging and key performance indicators to inform merchandising decisions.
  • Coordinate with buying, planning, logistics and store teams to implement pricing, promotions, markdowns and product launches.
  • Resolve operational discrepancies (shortages, overages, invoicing issues) and liaise with vendors, 3PLs and internal finance teams to ensure accurate records.
  • Maintain and update merchandise data in PLM/ERP systems and support system-driven processes (ASN, EDI, stock adjustments).

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years' experience in merchandising operations, retail planning, inventory control or a related function within fashion or premium retail.
  • Strong numerical aptitude with demonstrated experience in sales and inventory analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to manage transactional workflows accurately under deadlines.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across buying, supply chain, stores and finance stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with experience using lookup functions, pivot tables and basic modelling.

Experience

Typically 1–3 years in merchandising operations, inventory management, retail planning or a related role within fashion or premium retail environments. Experience interfacing with buying, stores and logistics teams is expected.
