Role & Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day merchandise operations including receiving, processing and recording inbound stock accurately.
- Manage stock replenishment, transfers and allocations to retail locations according to demand and aging reports.
- Perform regular inventory counts, cycle counts and reconciliation; investigate and resolve variances.
- Execute data entry and maintain merchandise records in ERP/inventory systems with meticulous attention to detail.
- Prepare and distribute shipment documentation; coordinate with logistics and store teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Generate regular operational reports for planners and store management (sales vs. stock, sell-through, aging).
- Assist with markdowns, returns processing and quality-control checks to preserve brand standards.
- Collaborate with buying, planning and retail teams to implement seasonal transitions and promotional activity.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated numeracy and high attention to detail; strong organisational skills for handling multiple SKUs.
- Ability to work a part-time schedule that may include early shifts, evenings and weekends as required by retail operations.
- Practical experience with inventory control, stocktaking or back-of-house retail processes.
- Proven ability to follow defined procedures and maintain accurate records under pace and operational constraints.
- Customer-service orientation and the capacity to work collaboratively with store and supply-chain teams.

Experience
Typically 1–2 years' experience in retail operations, inventory control, warehouse or merchandise support roles is preferred. Experience within fashion, apparel or luxury retail environments is advantageous.
