Saks Global seeks Maintenance Technician in ECDC, USA. Full-time role maintaining material handling equipment; $25–$31.25/hr with comprehensive benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance routines on material handling equipment with thorough documentation
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems affecting material handling equipment including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and related components
- Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment throughout the facility
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to diagnose equipment issues
- Maintain positive working relationships and communication across the Operations facility
- Track and manage department inventory related to maintenance supplies and parts
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and SDS guidelines
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and operating wheeled dollies up to 100 lbs, with extended shifts lasting up to 12 hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with automated conveyor systems and controls
- 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
- 2+ years of experience in material handling equipment repair
- 1+ years of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics
- 1+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles
- Background or experience in conveyor and forklift operation and repair
- Understanding and knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) information

2+ years of demonstrated experience with automated conveyor systems, controls, and material handling equipment repair; 1+ years of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics; proven ability to conduct predictive and preventative maintenance procedures in distribution environments
