Role & Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance and repair of automated packaging, distribution equipment and material handling equipment (MHE).
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults on conveyors, motors, photo-eyes, relays and related controls.
- Execute preventative and predictive maintenance routines and maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
- Promote and follow all safety procedures and work with SDS (Safety Data Sheets) information to maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage and track department inventory and spare parts storage.
- Collaborate across operations and maintenance teams to support facility uptime and continuous improvement.
- Handle physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and moving wheeled dollies up to 100 lbs during shifts up to 12 hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
- 2+ years performing predictive and preventative maintenance on distribution or manufacturing equipment.
- 2+ years repairing material handling equipment (MHE).
- 1+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics and applying electrical/electronic principles.
- Familiarity with SDS and adherence to safety procedures in distribution environments.
- Background or experience with forklift operation and repair is preferred.
- Ability to work in noisy environments and at rooftop or extreme temperature locations; capable of both independent work and teamwork.

Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with automated conveyor systems and controls, predictive/preventative maintenance, and repair of material handling equipment; at least 1+ year experience with blueprints and electrical schematics.
