Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and properly book all jewelry in accordance with company standards, including photocopying fine jewelry and reconciling purchase order issues with the buying office
- Enter all received merchandise into the case count system and maintain accurate daily inventory records
- Retrieve and process merchandise for return to vendor or transfer, ensuring proper packing and tracking number documentation
- Maintain comprehensive repair logs, track merchandise check-in and check-out, and monitor repairs sent to external vendors or local repair shops
- Submit repair invoices with complete documentation to Accounts Payable
- Receive and verify all merchandise for trunk shows against manifest lists and assist with setup, takedown, and business recaps
- Conduct daily case counts and reconcile all discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy
- Reticket all merchandise lacking readable tags, including returns and special items
- Prepare and submit special order requests to the buying team
- Provide operational support to the Jewelry Selling Manager and sales associates on the sales floor as needed
- Maintain adequate department supplies and fulfill other store initiatives as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn systems, jewelry standards, and IT applications
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency with inventory management and case count systems

Experience
Equivalent professional experience in retail operations, inventory management, or luxury goods merchandising is acceptable in lieu of formal education.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
