Role & Responsibilities
- Perform weekly preventive maintenance on all building equipment and building envelope systems
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspections and logging
- Execute inspections on vertical transportation, boilers, generators, and HVAC systems
- Order maintenance supplies and assist Regional Manager in managing maintenance expense accounts
- Support execution of capital planning projects under Regional Manager guidance
- Maintain and coordinate building energy management systems, including lighting control via Trane Ensemble Software
- Provide technical support for store systems including Point of Sale (POS) and telephone systems
- Support kitchen equipment as required
- Respond to after-hours and emergency calls; manage overtime as needed
- Maintain operational capacity during peak seasonal periods with limited time off between Black Friday and January 8
Qualifications
- Degree from vocational school or college in Mechanical or Electrical field
- Two to five years of experience in mechanical or electrical field, or four years of apprenticeship or equivalent
- Background in building maintenance, electrical systems, and HVAC
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly with proficiency in bending, lifting, and reaching both below and above waist height
- Ability to climb ladders safely
- Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) information
- Valid driver's license

Experience
Two to five years of hands-on experience in mechanical or electrical building systems, or four years of formal apprenticeship in a related field. Proven background in building maintenance, electrical work, and HVAC systems troubleshooting.
Education
Degree from a vocational school or college with focus in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or equivalent technical certification.
