Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operation and preventive maintenance of owned and leased properties, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building fabric to ensure impeccable presentation and uptime.
  • Oversee and coordinate third-party contractors and suppliers (service, security, cleaning, landscaping, MEP contractors), including procurement, SLAs, KPI monitoring and performance reviews.
  • Plan and deliver capital projects, refurbishments and fit-outs in collaboration with design, construction and store operations teams, ensuring brand standards, timelines and budgets are met.
  • Develop and manage facilities budgets (OPEX and CAPEX), authorise expenditures, and implement cost control and value-engineering measures.
  • Ensure full compliance with local health, safety, fire, environmental and accessibility regulations; maintain emergency preparedness and business-continuity plans.
  • Operate and optimise Building Management Systems (BMS) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to improve equipment reliability and energy efficiency.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and condition surveys; prepare technical reports and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Drive sustainability and energy-reduction initiatives across properties in alignment with corporate environmental targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, building services, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Professional certification in health & safety or facilities management preferred (eg. NEBOSH, IOSH, IFMA credentials).
  • Proven track record managing commercial or retail facilities within high-end retail, luxury hospitality or corporate real estate.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets and vendor contracts.
  • Excellent stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities/building services, architecture, or a related discipline; professional FM or HSE certifications preferred.
