Leading luxury brand (Paris) seeks an Engineer to optimise production processes and technical operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, optimise and document production processes to improve efficiency, quality and yield across ateliers or factories.
- Lead technical problem-solving initiatives using root-cause analysis and corrective action plans to resolve production bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with product development, quality and sourcing teams to ensure manufacturability, cost control and adherence to luxury-grade specifications.
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, 5S, TPM) and track performance metrics to drive measurable productivity gains.
- Manage technical maintenance programmes for machinery and equipment; coordinate external vendors and internal technicians.
- Prepare technical dossiers, work instructions and SOPs; train production staff on new processes and machinery safeguards.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental and regulatory requirements within production facilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent technical diploma).
- Proven ability to translate product specifications into robust, repeatable manufacturing processes.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary technical projects with clear, measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrable knowledge of quality assurance methods and production KPIs used in high-end manufacturing.
- Strong communication skills with experience in cross-functional stakeholder engagement (R&D, quality, sourcing).

Experience
Typically 3–5 years of hands-on engineering experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering or production optimisation; experience within luxury goods, fashion ateliers, leather goods or precision manufacturing strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
